It portrays the most amazing times in New York, back in the old beatnik bohemian days. (In A Hollywood Style)Very much Hitchcock inspired and done in the same year as Verigo, but directed by Richard Quine.
http://By far the greatest director if not artist of our time. It saddens me that bio movies portray him in such a false light for ratings and dramatic purposes. I am very disappointed in Anthony Perkins, I guess he needed the money. Before I die I hope to stand up for the man who is long gone and was more amazing, influential , and cordial than portrayed. Before I die I hope to make a film to tell his true truth.
